Kansas City Monarchs 1924 Authentic Wool Road Baseball Jersey

THE SAME JERSEY THE KC MONARCHS WORE IN THE 1924 WORLD SERIES

History: The Monarchs appeared in the first "Colored World Series" in 1924, representing the Negro National League against the Hilldale club of the Eastern Colored League. No number on back (numbers were not worn at that time).

One of the most renowned Negro Leagues teams of all time, the Kansas City Monarchs produced fourteen Hall of Famers, from Bullet Rogan in the 1920s to Jackie Robinson and Satchel Paige in the 1940s and Ernie Banks in the early 1950s. Made up of players from the All Nations barnstorming team and the Army’s 25th Infantry Wreckers, the Monarchs got their start in 1920 and played through 1965.

In partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM), we are proud to offer this authentic wool flannel jersey. A portion of proceeds from this product will support the NLBM in Kansas City. For more information about the museum, visit www.nlbm.com
